Popular brand Jeep is a sub-unit of the brand Chrysler. The company is aimed on producing vehicles with high level of passabbility. The headquarters of Jeep is based in Detroit, Michigan. The founder of the company is considered to be Arthur Herrington who was born in the USA. After the First World War he was very busy with producing cars of high passability in France. He made different experiments with four and six-wheel autos in cooperation with Marmon Motor. The first Jeep auto was a result of such experiments which can be defined as car for general purposes. The company should be very grateful for its popularity to a company which is called Willys.

In 1987 integration of American Motor into the Chrysler takes place. In 1992 this corporation launches an auto which later turned out to be a real sensation. The model was called Jeep Grand Cherokee. Moreover constructors of Jeep tried to increase the level of security of the driver.
